We Are Lighting Up Rare Disease Day 2025

On February 28, CSL will illuminate landmarks in the United States, Switzerland and Germany. “Take a few moments to reflect on how far we’ve come and imagine what more we can do for the millions of rare disease patients around the world,” CSL CEO Paul McKenzie said in a video message.

Story

When the sun goes down on February 28, landmarks around the world will light up to show support for millions of patients who live with rare conditions, many of which lack treatments.

“For those of us in the business of science, it’s particularly fitting that the organizers of Rare Disease Day 2025 chose the message: ‘More than you can imagine,’" CSL CEO Paul McKenzie said. “We’re committed to bringing new treatment options to the patients who are waiting for them. They rely on us, and we’ll keep imagining what’s next.”
