In Melbourne, Australia, more than 600 people recently attended an event that’s a highlight on the biotech industry’s calendar: the BioMelbourne Network’s annual Connecting Women luncheon. The May 17 event full of “inspiration, connection and celebration” sold out.
CSL, which sponsored the luncheon, shared a video there that features seven women leaders walking through its new headquarters in Melbourne’s biomedical precinct. They are Linette Gambiza, Scientist, Pilot Scale Operations; Emily Brown, Transition Program Director, Manufacturing Operations; Kellie Hooley, Head of Biotherapies APAC, Global Regulatory Affairs; Ellen Otte, Director, Cell and Gene Therapy Process Development; Claire Morgan, Medical Director, Pharmaceuticals; Siang Tia, Global Project Lead, Data Management; and Ainslee Minihan, Senior Counsel, Australian Operations. In the video, the women describe their work and causes close to their hearts that they support during their off hours.
