When it comes to baseball, kids listen to coach Jesse Schrader. He’s a hemophilia patient who nonetheless earned a college scholarship and played pro ball. He’s also a longtime supporter of CSL Behring’s annual Gettin’ In the Game Junior National Championship, an annual event that invites kids to train and play baseball and other sports.
Schrader, who was born with hemophilia A, hits the field with kids and teens at the JNC and shows them how to improve their game. In the video above, see his tips specifically for young players who are also managing a bleeding disorder.
