Nominations Are Open for the Gettin' in the Game Junior National Championship

The JNC, celebrating its 22nd year, hosts children and teens in the bleeding disorders community for a weekend full of sports, education and fun.

Story

CSL Behring’s Gettin’ in the Game Junior National Championship has officially opened its nominations process, inviting children and teens across the United States to participate in a unique and empowering sports competition.

For over two decades, the Gettin’ in the Game Junior National Championship has stood as the first and only national sports competition tailored specifically for children with bleeding disorders. This year, the event will take place from September 20-22, 2024, in Henderson, Nevada, marking its 22nd anniversary.

The JNC is more than just a competition; it’s a weekend filled with sports training, educational sessions, and community building. Children and adolescents, aged 7-18, will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball, basketball, golf, or swimming, and participate in friendly competitions. Additionally, participants and their caregivers will come together to celebrate their strengths and support each other in overcoming the obstacles they face.

All bleeding disorders chapters throughout the United States are invited to nominate two children to represent them at the national competition. For more information on the nomination process and how to participate, please contact your local bleeding disorders chapter or visit the Gettin’ in the Game Junior National Championship website.
