In Forbes Magazine’s annual rankings, global biotech leader CSL has landed among America’s Best Large Employers for 2022.
With 25,000 employees worldwide – and 16,000 in the United States – CSL ranked among the top 500. Across 25 industry sectors, the Forbes rankings measure how well a company is meeting the needs and expectations of its staff.
“CSL is committed to creating a workplace atmosphere where employees can pursue a promising future in a career dedicated to serving the needs of our patients and public health,” said CSL Chief Human Resources Officer Elizabeth Walker. “This honor from Forbes is a reflection of our efforts and a tribute to the over 16,000 CSL employees who live and work in the U.S.”
In more than 100 countries, CSL medicines contribute to better health and save lives. The company specializes in serious and rare diseases as well as influenza prevention. CSL has locations around the world and its U.S. sites include CSL Behring’s operational headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; manufacturing facilities in Kankakee, Illinois, and Holly Springs, North Carolina; and 300 plasma collection centers in 43 states.
Forbes, an influential business magazine, and Statista, a world-leading statistics portal, conducted the massive independent, randomized survey. It asked 60,000 U.S. employees a simple question: Would they recommend their current employer to friends and family? The survey also asked workers about other employers in their industries to gauge impressions of them.
Forbes noted that this year’s rankings come amid the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic and the shifting priorities of American workers. CSL also was named to Forbes’ Global 2000 in 2021, and was recognized among the World’s Best Employers and Best Employers for Diversity in 2020.
