Scientists at CSL have been researching potential treatments for sickle cell disease and, over the summer, they received recognition at the Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research’s annual symposium. In June, CSL’s Paul Shore and team received a top abstract award from the FSCDR. The abstract summarized results of a phase 1 trial that studied a potential new plasma-derived medicine.
