Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by spontaneous swelling attacks that can occur at different locations in the body. These attacks are often painful and sometimes life-threatening. Living with the threat of these attacks can present physical and emotional challenges – and that’s why the search continues for new treatments that will improve patients’ quality of life.
CSL is committed to discovering, developing and delivering new solutions, as highlighted in this recent data presentation. The data also was published in The Lancet.
