Krissy M. knows how much juggling it takes to manage the usual bumps of childhood alongside a serious rare disease. Her son, Brody, was diagnosed with hemophilia A at age 7, but it didn’t slow the family down much. Hemophilia is a bleeding disorder that requires infusions of clotting factor and Krissy says they’ve done Brody’s intravenous infusions in lots of places – hotel lobbies, the back of a pickup truck, in the woods on a camping trip. Today, he’s a 6-foot-4-inch high school student who likes sports and being outdoors. Krissy shares a Mother’s Day message to moms in the video above.
