Alison Bartko is a mother of two children living with congenital afibrinogenemia, an ultra-rare bleeding disorder also known as Factor I deficiency. Her family has found a lot of support in the bleeding disorder community and the Bartkos are paying it forward by continually raising money for those living with bleeding disorders. Over the past 11 years, the Bartkos have raised more than $75,000. In the video above, Alison shares her tips for creating an effective fundraising effort.
